Velocity Expulsion Valve

The Velocity Expulsion Valve works in combination with our VMP-007 mounting plate and is hidden in the distal end of the socket. The use of a dummy during lamination creates a void in the distal end of the socket which accepts the expulsion valve. The valve has a large duckbill for quick air expulsion and easy cleaning. Unique to our expulsion valve is the ability to replace the rubber duckbill without the need to purchase a new valve housing.
The Velocity Expulsion Valve system allows vacuum systems that seal directly to the bottom of the socket to be used, creating a safety valve in case of a failure. expvalvesocket

Velocity Vacuum Valve

Velocity Labs expands our new Velocity Expulsion Valve to include a vacuum hookup valve. The Vacuum Valve housing fits into the existing VMP-007 mounting plate and allows a vacuum tube to connect to the socket through a 3/8” spacer plate mounted under the socket. This system creates a safety valve between the socket and any vacuum systems, so if the vacuum system fails the socket still works as an expulsion system.

Pediatric Velocity Expulsion Valve

The new children’s expulsion valve kits utilize the standard pediatric 4 bolt pattern. They use the same technology for laminating as our adult size kits.pedexpkit
